Nastya Kurbakova - the first girl in a video was the first baptism that we ever had in the Teens' Camp! You can see that all the campers gathered by the mountain river in the Carpathians to witness her good confession. Her Mom came to church when Nastya was a little child and she took care of Nastya raising her in the Lord most of the time serving as a Bible talk leader. Now Vika is married to a great brother and Nastya has a little brother of 1 year old. Vika, Nastya's Mom (being a Mom of 1 year old!) was serving in the camp as a nurse. Nastya's mentor Olya Shikalova - who's also a single mom came to the Camp to take part in Nastya's baptism.
Anya Smiyan - the second girl in the video - is the older daughter of Tanya Smiyan. It is her little sister Lisa who fell from 9th foor and miraculously stayed alive. Tanya is a spiritual woman of God who faithfully pursevered till her husband got baptized several years ago. Anya was praying for her Dad's baptism everyday of her childhood. Now both of her parents baptized her in Dnipro River.
Sasha Kirichenko - Anya and Sasha got baptized together - in one water - as we say here in Kiev. Lena - Mother of Sasha was a Christian for 15 years - she got baptized in Odessa Church of Chrsit soon after her husband Vitaly (maybe you remember this brother - he was that energetic rock-singer at the ILC in Kiev). This year they have not just got their oldest daughter baptized - they also adopted Masha, 9, so now they have 3 daughters: Sasha, Veronika and Masha. Lena is a zealous preacher of the gospel. Almost every year we hear that someone who Lena had studied the Bible with is getting baptized.
And finally Nastya Murmilova - she is a daughter of a single Mom - Sasha Murmilova, who is a faithful Chrstian and trying hard to raise her only daughter in the instructions of the Lord. And God is blessing her efforts.
So, as you see now - it is not just about Youth and Family Ministry - told ya!
