Sam Laing commented, "We are in the best place in our Southeast unity that I have seen in my lifetime." Paul Ramsey noted this year's retreat was attended by 50% more people than last year.

The Southeast Leaders Retreat for International Churches of Christ in the Carolinas, Georgia and the Mid-South was held June 13-15 at Ridgecrest Conference Center in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
