Atlanta Churches Unite for City-Wide Service
On Sunday, June 26, disciples from congregations around Atlanta gathered near Stone Mountain to worship God. Members of the Athens, AcoCG, Bridge Pointe, Cornerstone, North River, The Path and Northview churches took part in the service. Together we sang, prayed, and read from the Word of God (with a portion of each in Spanish).
Request for African-American Bone Marrow Donors
Toni Thomas, a sister in the Columbia Church of Christ (South Carolina), is in need of a bone marrow transplant. A search for a bone marrow match for Toni has been ongoing for several months but, a match has not yet been found. She asks that you please review the donor criteria by logging on to the informational website at deletebloodcancer.org. Even though this request is for more bone marrow donors in general, Toni is African American and there is a great need for more African American donors nationwide.

Brothers and Sisters,

South Carolina Ministries Respond to Tragedy
Words cannot accurately express our response to the events that unfolded on the fateful evening of June 17, in the historic city of Charleston, South Carolina. Horrific and senseless. Cold and shocking. Nine innocent people murdered in cold blood! Though strong and forceful, these words fail to truly capture how we feel about this incident. These nine God-fearing individuals were praying and studying the Bible when they were gunned down by the stranger that they had welcomed into their midst. Hateful, heartless, brutal and vicious. The South Carolina governor spoke for all of us, when she tearfully proclaimed that as a result of this ghastly incident, “the heart and soul of South Carolina was broken.”
Save the Date for SEC 2015
The Southeast USA family of churches are excited to announce our 2015 SEC conference, entitled "Compelled2015," held on September 4-6, 2015 in the beautiful city of Greenville, South Carolina. The conference was founded upon the scripture 2 Corinthians 5:14: "For Christ's love compels us, for we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died," to inspire all the Southeast disciples to action as we focus on the love of God.

Mark Heitman, a brother in Christ from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Church of Christ, arrived in Nashville on June 30 to begin a final round of tests before donating a kidney to Steve.
