On August 9, 2016 all of the staff disciples from around New England gathered for a day of fun and fellowship. The leaders met at a park in Northborough, Massachusetts, to sing, pray and be inspired by God’s word.

Chicago Family Gets "Wish" Fulfilled to Go to Olympics
A family from the Chicago Church of Christ has been enjoying the first week of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, courtesy of the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Tyler, the 17-year-old son of Darryl and Ann Heggans, was born with a heart defect that led to three open-heart surgeries during his first 18 months of life.

Dallas-Fort Worth Members Start Cancer Care Ministry
I am a cancer survivor of almost five years from bladder cancer. I was treated successfully by the Cancer Treatment of America in Phoenix and Tulsa. My wife Donna has been my caregiver and supported me throughout. I want to share the good news of a ministry that has recenty helped us, in the hopes that others can benefit from these resources.
Orange County Sister Competing in Olympics
Brittany Borman is competing in her second Olympics in Rio for Team USA Track & Field in the javelin. She trains in Southern California and began attending the Orange County EDGE Singles Ministry (within the Orange County Church of Christ) earlier this year.
Reaching for Convictions in a World of Confusion
I experienced many transformational moments in St. Louis at Reach2016. Personally, the most influential for me was the Friday morning session with Guy Hammond and Stephen Bowen called "Reaching for Convictions in a World of Confusion." Both Guy and Steve have amazing life situations and have let Christ shine through them to and with their families.
"I Choose Us" Facilitator Training October 2016
We are looking forward to hosting another I Choose Us facilitator training this fall, from October 28-29, 2016.
Listen to "Reach (Upside Down)"
One of the special songs performed at Reach2016 was a song entitled "Reach (Upside Down)" written by Rick Biordi, Worship Director and Youth & Family Ministry Leader for the Portland Church of Christ in Oregon. This song debuted Saturday night after Doug Arthur's message and before Steve Johnson's new mini-musical “Beyond Reach.” In preparation for the Reach conference, Rick had the idea of incorporating the Reach theme, the Upside Down musical and the songs “Men Who Dream” and “I Hear God Singing to Me,” as a dedication to our past, and inspiration for our future.
