Central Jersey Church Appoints First Elders
The Central Jersey Church of Christ has reached a new and exciting milestone since being planted by the NYC Church of Christ in 2004. So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

Salt Lake Christian Church Transitions to New Leadership
God has led our church down new paths since last fall. God moved in the hearts of Kip and Bethany Harms, the evangelist and women’s ministry leader who had been leading the Salt Lake Christian Church since April of 2011, showing them a need within their family that could not be ignored. Amazingly, an opening for a ministry position was revealed. With that potential once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and the full support of the core leadership group here in Utah, the Harms set out to make their transition. They pledged to remain around to assist with finding a couple to replace themselves.
"UnBoxed" Conference in Orlando, April 20-22
We are convinced that there are many new and fresh ideas that would increase Christian outreach and ministry effectiveness, but may never be fleshed out because they are "not the way we have always done things." We want to create an environment to share ideas – an experimental breeding ground if you will – to bring those great ideas out in the open. Our conviction is that while Jesus is perfect, we have not perfected the ways to do "ministry" – nor will we ever – but we ought to continue to grow in our abilities, and learn to accomplish Jesus' purposes in every way that we can.

On February 19, 2017, Lowell Hoover, evangelist of the Charleston Church of Christ in South Carolina, appointed Ernest Govan and Ivey Baird as elders of the congregation. This was the first time in the 24-year old history of the church that elders had been appointed.
Open Letter from Wyndham Shaw
It seems appropriate that I update the Boston church and her leaders as to the progression of my health challenges and its effect on my capacity to work full time.
For 42 years I have had the privilege to serve in the full-time ministry. I began fresh out of college and saw God work in amazing ways in campus ministries in North Carolina. We moved to West Virginia and then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to plant a church there. With each move we added a child, including Boston. When we moved to Boston, like many, we planned to be here a short time, but God had other plans. We have now been here 30 years.
