The time is finally here, and a handful of faithful disciples from across the Caribbean, the USA and the UK will gather together in under two months, to give their hearts to the replanting of the church in Grenada! The few disciples in Grenada have been faithful and faith filled - and we are so excited that God has finally opened the way for this historic missionary activity. Heartfelt thanks go out to the disciples in Trinidad and Tobago, and the rest of the Caribbean, as well as those in the United States and the UK who have sacrificed financially, and in prayer and support over the years as God has put His plan together, and made it known to us!
Recently, team leaders Richard & Romania visited the disciples in Grenada for ten days, to scout out the land, encourage the disciples and lay plans for the replanting. Click here for a video report done from Grenada inviting team members.
You can still be a part of what promises to be a life-changing, faith-building mission in the beautiful Caribbean island known as "The Spice Island" this summer! Here are the details below:
What: Grenada Re-planting Mission
Where: St. Georges, Grenada (Caribbean)
When: August 11th to 25th, 2013
* 2-weeks of intense evangelism, community service, fun and fellowship!
* 1-year to 3-years challenge also available (self-supporting)
Who: Strong, committed, faith-filled disciples - brothers and sisters of all ages welcome!
Why: Help re-plant the church, and offer support to three strong, faithful disciples (for more info, click here)
Airfare: Check flights to Maurice Bishop Inter. Airport, Grenada (formerly Point Salines)
Accommodations**/ Meals:
Town & Country Guest House, Belmont St. Georges
* 2 persons per room, at @ $32.50 US per person, per night
* Kitchen available on premises, also close proximity to grocery, fast food, etc.
Local Transport:
Bus fares cost approximately $2.50 EC ($1 US) per trip. Expect 2-4 trips per day.
** Disciples are encouraged to stay at the beautiful Town and Country Guest House, where we have arranged the group rate listed above. We will also host devotions, etc on property. However, if you would prefer to make your own arrangements for your stay in Grenada, feel free to do so. Activities: Participate in campus evangelising, community door-knocking, daily devotionals and spiritual enrichment, serving at the local Children's Home, a special community service project, "Bible Talks" and one-on-one Bible Studies and our official relaunch Sunday Service - PLUS many fun activities including site-seeing, snorkelling, beach devotionals, "hashing," walking the Carenage, cycling, and more!
