God has blessed the church here in Havana, Cuba with two new brothers, both named Luis. Luis #1 was invited by one of the brothers Jorge Amado, who said he was surprised that he responded with humility the Bible studies. The second Luis has been a neighbor of a sister here named Betty for 10years. He mentioned that if Betty had invited him any earlier he would not have been ready and would have declined the invitation. God remained faithful; and at just the right time, he responded to the Word with eagerness and humility. This encouraged the church to invite anyone and everyone because we just never know when the person is ready to respond with humility to the good news. Heaven is rejoicing right now!!!
We are now praying to find a new place to meet for two reasons: firstly, we have had a full house on Sundays and at times, the floor moves. We are worried that the floor will cave eventually. A single sister has also generously allowed the church to use her house for the last 5 years and it is time for the church to move to another place. We are praying for financial support to be able to find a ground level house to rent so that we can worship God and grow without worrying about the safety of the members.God put it on my heart to share this wonderful news with you.
