High School Senior Expands Fundraiser for Africa
Nick Shoff, a senior in the Hartford, Connecticut area, began a fundraising 3 on 3 basketball tournament. It is expanding and has touched the hearts of many - including superstar athletes such as Dikembe Mutombo and Philip Rivers. Most importantly, they have given children in Africa many basic needs that we take for granted.
Phoenix Church Hosts 4th Annual Hope Carnival
The Phoenix church enjoyed servbing the communty with their 4th annual HOPE Carnival for homeless children. It was attended by 725 homeless people and 320 volunteers. God blessed our event with the Harlem Globetrotters, ASU football players, and a team of 7 dental student performing checkups and fluoride treatments.

“Mwen remen ou” (Creole for “I love you”) is a phrase that goes a long way in Haiti at the orphanage my wife Ericka and I served as site leaders a few weeks ago as part of the HOPE Youth Corps (HYC), a program of HOPE worldwide. Three teams have gone so far this summer.

Hoops for Hope Raises almost $50,000 in LA
The LA church recently held a fundraiser in where they raised over $46,500 for the Sihanouk Hospital in Cambodia. As you know, they provide free medical care for some of the poorest people in the world. 24 basketball players played basketball for 12 hours straight... Watch the highlight video!
Japan: 8 week Update on Relief Efforts in Tohoku
It is now two months since the largest earthquake ever to be recorded in the history of Japan, rocked our nation. Though we are asked to cut down on electricity use and the news from the nuclear power plant is still not very encouraging, as the aftershocks have dwindled, life is now pretty much back to normal.
