As many remember the September 11 tragedy in the USA from 10 years ago, we in Japan are reflecting on the largest earthquake ever recorded in our history that rocked our country exactly 6 months ago on March 11.

We were all in shock as we experienced thousands of people losing their lives immediately. During the last six months, we have experienced aftershocks, blackouts, food and water shortages and the constant never ending threat of radiation and contamination.
The disciples here have been courageous and outward focused durin
g this difficult time. God has blessed us with a new Hope Worldwide project in Sendai. In the last few months, hundreds of volunteers have been sent from Tokyo and thousands of people have been fed, encouraged, and helped to move into their new homes.
God has blessed in Tokyo with either a baptism or restoration at our Sunday service for seven weeks in a row this summer. All in all, 9 people were brought into the kingdom in the last 3 months.
