The small church of 18 members in Volgograd has had to say farewell to a young father, baptized just two years ago, who passed away suddenly just before Christmas, of apparent heart failure. The Journey to Healing

This wheelchair has made me a better person. I'm surprised to be saying this out loud because a year ago the thought of it would have made me mad. It's taken a lot of work on God's part to get me prepared for this way of life. And I've had to make choices to be obedient, to believe God has good in store for me, and to pray my way out of rebellion and bitterness. Most of the time, I haven't wanted to make the right decisions to be righteous, but prayer makes a world of difference. Prayer is the true testament of the power of God in our lives. God can change our hearts and our minds if we ask.

Shining Stars Performing Arts Academy in Georgia

Created and directed by Sherwin Mackintosh and Carrie Kelsey, the Shining Stars Performing Arts Academy is making it's debut in the Southeast on June 24, 2018. Sherwin and Carrie were two of the producers of the recent revival of Upside Down. Sherwin is the co-writer (along with Steve Johnson) and Carrie was the Assistant Director and Choreographer.

John Oakes Reports on Teaching Trip to Texas, Korea, and The Philippines

This is my first time being part of what is known as the Texas Roundup. This annual gathering consists of Christian leaders from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and this year, Kansas. More than 140 leaders gather for fellowship, teaching and inspiration to lead God's church in the coming year. This meeting has been going on for at least 12 years.
