Prayers for the Scott Green Family
Scott and Lynne Green are truly heroic servants of God. As a young married couple, in 1987 they led a small team of disciples from Boston to plant a church in Hong Kong, China. That church today thrives with over 2,000 members and has planted dozens of other churches. After the Greens handed the leadership to Chinese disciples they had trained, they returned to serve the Seattle Church of Christ from 1997 – 2013. They then served our Berlin church for several years until 2017.
One Big Thing
In 2018, The New York City Church of Christ celebrates its 35th anniversary. It was planted in 1983 by just 18 faithful souls and has now close to 4,000 in attendance on any given Sunday in eleven locations throughout the New York City metropolitan area.
Question Marks or Exclamation Points?
How would you describe your faith? Can you describe your faith with an exclamation point! Many of us live our faith with questions that don't seem to have obvious answers.
So, we hesitate and seem to come up with other questions that create even more hesitation. Questions are normal, but we can answer them with exclamation points! Questions answered with endless questions will not produce faith inspired decisions. We need to pray, fast, ask questions, seek advice then answer with exclamation points!

A Bravehearted OYC'er Arrives
This week, the Edinburgh Church welcomes its first, courageous braveheart for the One Year Challenge! Hailey Wright (second from the far left) arrived in Edinburgh last week from Nashville to begin an OYC in one of the world's most beautiful cities. Hailey instantly helps form the core of a new and re-loaded campus ministry in Edinburgh.
