Kenya Evangelist Needs Brain Surgery – and Your Prayers

Tuesday, 13 March 2012 22:51
Charles Omollo, one of the ministers in the church in Nairobi, Kenya, was recently diagnosed with having a pituitary macroadenoma, an abnormal growth in the brain, which requires urgent surgery in order to address the imminent risk to his health. Surgery was conducted in Kenya but was unsuccessful, so Charles will now be traveling to India for a second attempt at the procedure.

Charles needs our spiritual, physical, financial, and emotional support.

The cost of transportation, accommodation, hospitalization, operation and medication is $23,000, which the Nairobi church is trying to help raise in conjunction with Charles' family.

Charles was baptized in Kenya in 1997. He and his wife, Josephine (pictured in 2007 before Charles’ symptoms affected his facial structure), have heroically led ministries in various parts of Nairobi and for many years courageously led our churches in Rwanda and Ethiopia.

Please keep Charles, Josephine and their two sons in your prayers.
