In 2014, we celebrated the Vietnam church's 20th anniversary with the goal to baptize 20 single men in the year. Until the beginning of December 2014, we had baptized 13 and still had seven more to go. In one discipleship group, we gathered and made the decision to try hard with faith, prayer, fasting and asking God to help us finish the year by reaching our goal for the last two months. (We use the lunar year in Vietnam.)Last night, God answered our prayers. We had 20 single men baptized by the festival, with eight baptisms in Ho Chi Minh City and CanTho mission team at the same time. One was baptized last Sunday, and this Sunday we have two more single men getting baptized. In total, we have seen 24 single men baptized in the year 2014! We have also seen three married couples and 10 single sisters converted this year.
God is so amazing and gives grace to us, to the people. Now, we can have a big, joyful New Year celebration. Celebrate with us today. And give all the glory to God!
