I hope this email provides encouragement to those already registered, and motivation for those who have yet to decide. But first, how about a bit of an introduction:
Mykl Gormley
Yeah, my name looks like “Milk," but it is actually pronounced “Michael." I was born and raised in Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. After high school I moved to Gainesville, Florida where I was converted in the campus ministry. I have been a disciple for over five years and have spent the last year and a half here in Colorado, and I love it!
Working as a graphic designer, I spend a lot of time making the products and advertisements of my company appear as beautiful as possible. It is a great job, but after eight hours of working on a computer screen, I am all about unplugging and enjoying what Colorado has to offer; and let me just say that the landscapes and sunsets in Colorado are more beautiful than anything I see at work. If you dig the city life, downtown Denver is a pretty hip spot to chill and soak up the urban vibe. On the other hand, travel about an hour west and you can be right up against some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. Talk about connecting with God!
I pray that all of you are able to come here for the conference. It is sure to be an encouraging time of fellowship, teaching, and heart stirring worship of our Lord.
