Bienvenido! Malgayang pagdating! Welcome! We are Abiye Okuchaba and Lori Martin, and as the Domestic Hospitality Committee, we have the privilege of welcoming you to the Mile High City! Hospitality is alive and well in Denver and the Domestic Hospitality team is prepared to Elevate your conference experience during your stay in Denver; our hope is to meet all of your needs before you are aware of them.
We have an exciting list of activities planned – a scavenger hunt, Saturday morning Zumba, day of service projects, speed dating, prayer walks, and much more! This will be an amazing event that you won’t want to miss - nor should your friends. So be sure to invite all your friends who wish to experience God at a higher altitude!
A little about us:
Abiye OkuchabaThere are two key reasons I am so excited to be part of the host committee for the singles conference. First, Denver has been my home for the majority of my life, so the best way to start an argument with me is to say something negative about Denver! I absolutely love this city, and if it is your first time visiting you are in for a treat.
Secondly, six years ago I was transformed by Jesus in the singles ministry; as a result the singles ministry will always have a huge place in my heart. The Denver Singles know how to have a good time and worship!
Lori MartinThis year I will celebrate my 25th year as a disciple and it was the best decision of my life! I was converted in the Metro Campus ministry in 1989 and have served in just about every region of the Denver church. I could tell many tales about planting a church, since I went on a mission team to Fargo, ND. But being born and raised here in the great city of Denver, my heart will forever feel most at home right here. I have been single through my entire walk with God and have absolutely no regrets, and know I could never feel more fulfilled than when I am close to Jesus and my church family.
