2007 Outreach Plans in DC

The weekend of May 18 - 20th promises to be a tremendous thrill for many in God's church. It is the weekend that both Hope Worldwide Global Summit and the Song Leaders' Conference stream into Washington, DC for their International Conferences. As we know, the DC area is a world hub for hundreds and thousands of leaders, ambassadors and politicians from around the globe.
One of the exciting plans in place right now is the Song Leaders' team inviting each and every country's ambassador office in DC to send one representative attend part the conference. We are also planning to request the availability from their offices their nation's flag as part of our main stage presentation. The potential is great to meet new and exciting people and have an even more widespread impact.
Incidentally, we have all heard of the recent natural calamities striking Indonesia. There is another tie between Hope Worldwide and the International Song Leaders workshop. There is a 25 member choir wanting to attend and perform at the conference from Bandung, Indonesia. They need our prayers and support as we look to bringing them into the conference in the future. Please pray for them in the wake of the recent earthquakes and the possibility of getting them to visit a conference in the future. It would cost quite a lot.
