HOPE worldwide Boston Chapter Raises Funds for Food Pantry
The clouds were gray and the rain made for a great memory as the Boston HOPE worldwide Chapter volunteers and Boston Church of Christ came together for a worship service and fundraising walk to support the Framingham Food Pantry and a yearly donation to HOPE worldwide. Over $66,000 was collected from the fundraiser. The singles ministry established a faith goal of $20,000 and collected over $25,000 for the Walk. Many creative and sacrificial ideas were implemented to support the cause of easing hunger in our cities.

More Valuable than Anything Money Could Buy
Jane Doyle, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, writes about her family's trip to Nepal with the Kathmandu 2015 Christmas HOPE Youth Corps.
This is the story of my family trip with HOPE worldwide to Kathmandu, Nepal at Christmas 2015. Our family consists of my husband Daniel, our two girls Hannah (15) and Sian (13), and our son Rory (10).
Even though we had wanted to go on one of these HOPE worldwide trips for a few years, when God opened the door for our family to serve in Kathmandu, the reality of it brought up fears in me, and challenges that only faith in God could overcome.
Cyclone Winston in Fiji
I live in Melbourne, Australia and manage HOPE worldwide Australia. In December of last year I had the fortune of serving with volunteers at the HOPE Youth Corps in Fiji and when I heard about the cyclone that struck last weekend, I was eager to know how everyone was doing. I spent quite a bit of time this week on the phone to Alex Hernandez, who leads the churches in Fiji and lives in Suva. Through repeatedly broken calls, he gave me an update on how things are going. Many places are still without power or water. There was a lot of flooding with high sea levels and many homes were swept away by wind and water. Please be praying for the disciples, the wider community and the ongoing relief effort!
HOPE Youth Corps Testimonial: Zach Parnell
Zachary Parnell, 24, a campus student from Philadelphia, was one of our "master builders' on the Philippines HOPE Youth Corps. He is also one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. This is what he shared about his time on HYC:
2015 HOPE Youth Corps Cebu Video
John and Isa Araneo, disciples in the San Diego Church of Christ, go to the Philippines every year to help with the work of HOPE worldwide. This past Christmas, they were able to serve alongside the HOPE Youth Corps volunteers.
A group of 80 HYC participants built houses for typhoon victims, repaired and painted boats, and spent time with the community of Daanbantayan in Northern Cebu.
