Residents of the Dallas metro area are spending the first days of 2016 attempting to rebuild their lives after devastating tornadoes tore through the area just days after Christmas, killing 11 and damaging or destroying thousands of homes.

HOPEww Responds To U.S. Storms
Severe storms hit the U.S. South, Southwest and Midwest over the Christmas holiday weekend, unleashing floods and tornadoes that killed at least 43 people, flattened buildings and snarled transportation for millions during a busy travel time.
Typhoon Melor Update
Hundreds of thousands of people have been evacuated in the central Philippines, where a fierce storm is lashing coastal areas with heavy wind and rain. According to The Guardian news outlet, three people have been killed and millions are left without power.

A Dream Realized in Bolivia
We are incredibly excited to announce that HOPE worldwide Bolivia officially opened The International Medical Center in La Paz, Bolivia on October 3, 2015. The Center provides high quality medical care that is a sustainable social enterprise, which means that the clinic proceeds will go towards supporting health services and social programs run by HOPE worldwide Bolivia and our partnership Foundation Arco Iris. These services and programs are focused on meeting the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable children and families in La Paz.
