Last Sunday was the first church service in the city of Zaporozhie, Ukraine. The Kiev Church sacrificed the money to send a couple financially supported full-time to this city. The desire was to bring the gospel to another city and give those who are seeking God an opportunity to hear His word preached. Last Sunday was the first church service in the city of Zaporozhie, Ukraine. The Kiev Church sacrificed the money to send a couple financially supported full-time to this city. The desire was to bring the gospel to another city and give those who are seeking God an opportunity to hear His word preached.
God blessed the first service. Ninety-five Christians from different churches traveled on Saturday to be a part of this first service on Sunday. Sunday, there was an absolute torrential downpour of rain, but those who wanted to hear the word still came. Altogether, 140 people showed up at church to worship and witness to our great God! Right now fifteen of those in attendance are studying the Bible. It??? is so encouraging to see the seed of the gospel be planted and start to take root, and we pray for many new children of God to be adopted into His family in this great city.
