Brothers and sisters! I want to share with you the joy. This week in our family of believers were added to the number of 2 people. My mom and daughter were baptized.

3 days ago, I shared about my mother, and her path to God. And now we entered the waters of baptism with my adult daughter.

Dasha for us is a true child of prayer and miracles.  First becuase my diagnosis of infertility gave rise to much family prayer. But that was just the beginning ... When Olya learned that we were having a baby, we also learned some bad news. Surgery was needed to remove the fetus, because it did not develop in the right place. I know a lot of church members prayed for a miracle. For that I am incredibly grateful to my great spiritual family. And then miracle happened: the baby has moved to a place of development!

The second story is even more encouraging and still continues to inspire me. We are very pleased that we have relatives in Christ. Olya's sister Julia, her husband, and mother-in-law are disciples.  To me, Olya and Julia have been a great example of spiritual and emotional friendship. They even got pregnant around the same time, which I imagine only deepened their relationship. So, on one of the family evenings, I shared my dream: it would be great if our kids would be of the same sex, were born on the same day and were friends just like Olya and Julia. These words caused a mixed reaction... But, I recorded my wildest dreams in a diary and began to pray about it. It took half a year...

I was very excited and scared to see how the births would be. That night I spent a lot of time on my knees. I was not worried about my "dream." God is amazingly faithful. The next morning we learned that Olga and Julia gave birth to girls in different hospitals of Moscow on the same day with a difference of 15 minutes!

IMG 3385When I "dug" into my six month old diary entry, I myself thought it hardly possible. But the facts were in front of my face. One question I still wondered:  "God, why are insignificant and lindividual dreams are so important to you?" Perhaps only He knows how the set of circumstances will support the faith of many.

And now another miracle that inspires us. The baptism of our daughter Dasha! The Bible says, "Baptism is not a washing of the body from the mud, but a request to God for a clear conscience. All of this comes through the resurrection of Jesus Christ "(1 Peter 3:21). And it is a conscious and voluntary request to God. What can we as parents give our children? Everyone knows that our children have more faith in what we are doing, not in what we say. Therefore, we can either help them to do and believe in what we are doing and believe, or vice versa.

IMG 3411We thank God for different things, through which He led us on the path to the water. There were times of doubt, difficulty, and misunderstandings. Those helped us to keep believing and praying. Myself along with Olya are grateful to all the people who helped our daughter to see and understand Christ. We want to thank our dear and beloved brothers and sisters from Urals, who were with us for seven years of our missionary journey, caring for and loving us. For our new North Region family who helped us to study the Bible together and affected us a lot. Finally, for our brothers and sisters on the other side of the ocean, for their wise counsel and support. And of course, our family in Christ, who is close to us.

And thank God for all the miracles in our lives!
