Church to be planted on Easter Sunday

{mosimage}Dar Es Salaam (Arabic word meaning "Abode Of Peace") and formerly known as Mzizima, is the largest city in Tanzania. With a population estimated at 2,500,000, it is also the country's richest city and a regionally important economic centre.

We are excited to announce that the Nairobi Christian Church will officially plant the Dar Es Salaam church over the Easter holidays. To be exact, we are planning to have a special Sunday service on the 8th of April.

Currently we have seven disciples in Dar Es Salaam, commonly referred to as "Dar', who moved there from other congregations outside Tanzania. The planting of the church, which promises to be a true abode of peace to those who will find refuge in God, will bring to two the number of congregations that we have in Tanzania, alongside the church in Arusha, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary.
