2016 ICOC Nigeria Administrator’s Training
And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, and those with gifts of healing, helping, administration, and various tongues. - 1 Corinthians 12:28 (NIV)On October 16, at least 30 church administrators from all across the Nigerian churches participated in a one-day training in Lagos aimed at building spiritual character and integrity. The event started with a communion service led by the lead evangelist, Chris Ogbonnaya. He welcomed the administrators and praised their hard work and resourcefulness in administering God’s church. From the scriptures (Romans 12:3-8), he encouraged them to continue to use their gifts to edify the body of Christ with humility. He also called their attention to be careful of being prideful about being talented and gifted as it’s all about the grace of God.
West and Central Africa Discipleship Summit 2016
The West and Central Africa Discipleship Summit 2016 is the first summit of its kind to be held in Africa. Disciples from over 20 countries both English and French speaking will gather in Accra, Ghana on August 5-7, 2016. The theme of the conference is “One Body, One Spirit, One Hope.”
The summit will be a time to bond together as brothers and sisters and to reconnect and recharge our spiritual batteries in preparation for all God has planned for us.
600 Attend West Africa Missions Leadership Conference
The 2015 West Africa Missions (WAM) Leadership Conference came to a rousing and breathtaking conclusion in the oil-rich city of Warri, Nigeria as more than 600 people attended the well organized and colorful grand finale at the exquisite hall of the Petroleum Trust Institute, Warri.

Ebola Outbreak in Liberia: "Pray for Us"
Since March 2014, there has been an outbreak of the deadly disease, the virus hemorrhagic Ebola, from the border of Guinea. At present there are more than 1000 deaths in four West Africa countries: Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Nigeria, with Liberia registering more than 670 cases and 350 deaths (among them, four doctors and 30 nurses).
New York's Chemical Recovery Ministry Visits Lagos
On September 24th the New York City Church of Christ sent 18 disciples (6 from Staten Island and 12 from the Bronx) to Lagos, Nigeria to encourage our sister church there. It was an amazing experience from the moment we landed till the time we left 10 days later. The 17th February, 2013 will go down in the annals of the 210 members of the Monrovia Church of Christ, Liberia as a glorious and unforgettable day of the Lord. The church celebrated its 15th Anniversary and dedicated the new ultra modern Worship Center.
Oshodi/Isolo Disciples Illuminate the Blind Center in Lagos

It was a Sunday to remember on the 17th of February 2013 at the Nigerian Society for the Blind Center in Oshodi, Lagos as disciples of the Oshodi/Isolo region and friends gathered at its’ premises for a special Sunday Worship Service with students of the Center, a service without ‘’blindness”.
2013 ICOC Nigeria Staff Retreat: Time for Reflection and Renewal
ICOC Nigeria recently concluded a 3-day National Staff Retreat to help set mission goals for 2013, help review its performance from the previous year in keeping with Vision 2020 goals and to align the 2013 goals in keeping with the year’s 3-pronged focus of Missions, Leadership Development and Family systems.
New Dawn for the Visually Impaired in Lagos

A new dawn was achieved by the Benevolence ministry of the Church at the Oshodi/Isolo Worship venue on Sunday October, 14, 2012, as the need to assist and redefine the lives of the blind or visually impaired disciples in the church was emphasized.
