The Kuwait singles may only number four disciples, but we are living a life full of impact. Three sisters – Ann from Jamaica, Moriel from the Philippines and Deanne from the US – together with Zaid – a brother who recently moved to Kuwait from the church in Jordan – probably make up the most diverse singles ministry in any church but we are the “bestest” of friends.(That’s Ann and Zaid on the picture.)
Recently we had eight of our friends (three of whom are Muslim) over for an afternoon of lunch, coffee, dessert and fellowship. It was so much fun! The Ambassador of Togo was there, along with three people from the embassy of Jamaica, some of our colleagues and friends. All together the 12 of us represented 9 countries.
Our friends just wondered how the four of us know one another and how we can be such great friends. We know it has to be God because we never would have met anywhere else except in His church.
