The leader of the Nagercoil, India church sent in this report: "It has been mind blowing being in Nagercoil. We are at awe of the work God has been doing in Nagercoil. In 2011 God has blessed the Church with 25 new souls."

All the mission team brothers from the time they stepped into Nagercoil had been meeting together at 5:30am every morning to pray and the sisters at 6:00am. Every month we have different kinds of fasting plan. Once we fasted and prayed for 24 hours continuously at one place. Another time we did a 24 hours chain prayer. The young Christians meet every Saturday mornings at 6:00am to have their own devotion. Every morning the young Christians and those studying the Bible meet together and go out in pairs for their quiet time. Every Sunday we conduct the "Guard the gospel" quiz for the young Christians. It brings us great joy to see the young Christians also become fruitful, evangelizing and being faithful.
There have been many anonymous calls threatening us that they would cut off our hands and legs if they found us inviting people to church. The Christians have to face many challenges day to day from their families and the community around them. Some of the brothers and sisters have to face many hardships to come to church. In the midst of all these challenges they still stand strong for Jesus in their families.
One aunty Vijaya who is not literate became a disciple in the month of September. She works in a hospital as a janitor. She powerfully shares her faith to the people in the hospital and presently there are some people studying the Bible from her hospital. We are working with many who come from broken families and broken marriages.
A Brother Suresh gave up a job earning up to Rs. 11,000 with food and accommodation. Since he was not able give time to spread the word of God, he quit his job. Now he works earning Rs.6000 and have enough time to spread the word of God and stays with the brothers in the brother's flat. To God be the glory."
Please keep praying for your brothers and sisters in India.
