Over 60 people did not allow the rain on an October morning deter them from celebrating a pivotal moment in Boston Church of Christ history. After years of thorough planning and heartfelt praying, elders, evangelists, women’s ministry leaders and community residents joined together with town officials to formally break ground on the new Arlington Worship Center. State Representative David Rogers and Town Manager Adam Chapdelaine welcomed the church with open arms. State Representative Sean Garballey highlighted in his speech that rain brings about something new. And that morning, it did. It was the beginning of fulfilling the church’s dream to have worship centers within 20 minutes of each other within the 495 belt.
It marked the beginning of the 20/20 vision becoming a reality. It also marked the beginning of many more celebrations to come at the new Arlington Worship Center.
