God is at work in the New York City Church of Christ. Hundreds of people have been baptized in the last few years. Across the church, we have continued to experience great miracles and conversion stories in this great city.
Our campus nministries are on fire. The Singles Ministry just came back from a life-changing retreat with 600. The teen ministry is flourishing. The married ministry is growing and maturing. All of this is to the glory of God. We serve an awesome God.
But, that ís not all. There ís more besides.
The New York City Church of Christ has officially recognized Sam Powell as its Lead Evangelist. Sam has been an evangelist in the New York City Church since 1987. From 1998 to now, he has officially functioned in a dual role as Congregational elder and evangelist. For many years Sam has led the New York City Church, coordinating our plans, dreams and aspirations. He has led and inspired our staff, team of elders and evangelists.
We want to acknowledge what in reality has existed for a long time. It is with great joy and excitement therefore, that we recognize our powerful brother, Sam Powell, as the Lead evangelist of the New York City Church of Christ.
We ask for your prayers as we strive to strengthen the disciples and reach the 22 million plus lost souls in this great metropolitan area.
