There’s nothing like getting back to nature. Getting back to basics. Like celebrating God, his glory, and the relationships we’re blessed with as we strive to live lives reflecting that glory.

Over 125 men from around Ohio and Kentucky came together June 5-6 in the beautiful Hocking Hills southeast of Columbus to do just that. To unplug from work, home, bills… and plug into God surrounded by His creation and other like-minded brothers.

We enjoyed great lessons about remembering the blessings of God in the midst of the thorns of life and remembering the God greatness. Under the constant “threat” of severe weather (we heard thunder the entire weekend), we enjoyed a supernatural bubble which kept bad weather away so we could enjoy a great retreat.

Food and fellowship warmed by fire helped rekindled the fire in us all to go back to our various cities more faithful and focused to lead our families, our churches, and our cities the way God deserves and commands. We look forward to seeing how God will use our time away from home to impact our homes for Him.
