Recently, the Omaha Church of Christ got together for an evening called "World Prayer Night" to pray for every church in the world that is a part of the ICOC fellowship. Our Epaphras Prayer Ministry (Colossians 4:12) designed this evening to take time out of our schedules to call on God, asking him to assist all of our brothers and sisters in each individual church by name with the work they are doing in their fellowships, cities and nations. We then celebrated our worldwide group of churches with an international food potluck.

We want to serve and assist our fellow disciples through prayer. This last year, each group of the Omaha church methodically prayed from country to country, church by church, for all of our fellowships in the world. We prayed for ongoing local needs as well. We plan to make this an ongoing commitment to our brothers and sisters, the majority of whom we don't know and likely will never meet until we gather on the other side. We share our common bond in Christ as a part of the Father's kingdom, working to glorify God in our local areas of the world.

As we continue to pray for you, we want to offer you the opportunity to make specific prayer requests available to us by going to our website, www.omahachurchofchrist.org, and clicking on "prayers" in the top menu. You will be sent a response email when your request has been prayed for. Use this platform at anytime for any of your needs. We are excited to see God work in your church. As Paul taught, "On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many" (2 Corinthians 1:10-11).

Lastly, encourage us if you have a chance, by letting us know if there were any significant happenings in your fellowship this year, that you otherwise can not explain or account for. Perhaps it was prayer that facilitated God moving.
