The leadership group of the Wichita Church of Christ is thrilled to announce that Brandle and Wendy Studevan have been hired as Lead Minister and Women's Minister Leader effective September 1st.

Brandle and Wendy come from Minneapolis, MN. They have two wonderful sons, Brandle Jr. (7) and Kaiden (4). Both worked in the Teen Ministry for the Mnpls/St. Paul Church of Christ for eight years and had several other ministry duties during that time: Sector Leader, Singles Ministry, and Married Ministry. Their love for God, His Word, His Family, and the lost has now led them to Wichita to continue to serve the Almighty in any way He directs.

Brandle and Wendy both became Christians in Minneapolis - Brandle in 1997 and Wendy in 1999. Brandle met Wendy at the school they both worked at. He invited her to church and they built a friendship. Shortly thereafter, Brandle went into the fulltime ministry in Seattle to lead the Campus Ministry at the University of Washington. A year later he returned to Minneapolis to lead the Teen Ministry and marry his best friend, Wendy. They have been married for nine years.

Brandle went to Biola University in Southern California, where he played basketball. He went on to play professional basketball in Europe and South America. Brandle has experience working with youth, coaching and mentoring them. He is currently finishing his degree in Ministry with an emphasis in youth.

Wendy graduated from St. Cloud State University in Minneapolis, majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Human Relations and Child/Family Studies. She has taught in the Minneapolis Public School system for several years and was the Executive Director of a youth development program for girls.

Brandle and Wendy love to spend time as a family watching movies or having game nights. They enjoy sports, movies, and trying new restaurants.
