Disciples Today is excited about sponsoring several Saturday workshops at Reach2016 this summer in St. Louis, Missouri.
Participants can choose to attend an optional workshop in addition to their conference track programming.
All workshops will meet on Saturday, July 9, from 2-4 pm. Workshops are open to all attendees, although some have a targeted audience. See the classes for details. Additional class descriptions will be posted as they become available.When you register, you will select the workshop you are interested in attending, as part of the registration process. Those who have already registered can also choose to update their registration by using their login information.

Adoptive Families
Speakers: Ron and Lavonia Drabot, Bruce & Jennifer Radl
This workshop is hosted by Disciples Today Kingdom Kids. The format will include three TED-style talks followed by Q&A. If you have adopted or want to adopt, you are not alone. Learn how our church is reaching out to support and encourage parents raising the children they have adopted. Hear from other families who have overcome the challenges that come with adoption and are embracing the joy and love their children bring into the home. Hear from the children themselves, how adoption changed their lives.

Becoming Wavemakers - Inspiring Change in Your Church or Organization

We often hear of boxes, paradigms, and wineskins when people talk about change. Steve and Scott present measures for forging institutional change, regardless of one's rank or title. Through self-awareness, respect, best communication practices, developing collaboration roadmaps, and "nudging," we can avoid 'us and them' pitfalls. The format will include TED-style talks, interactive lessons, case studies and handouts.
