SPA campus ministryOver the last three years God has blessed the South Pacific and Australia (SPA) Region in so many ways. At the end of 2012, our region numbered 750 disciples. After three years, thankfully, we are now at 1,002 members at the close of 2015.

We have grown with an increase of full-time staff from 12 to 25. Our campus and teen ministries have just had awesome retreats and teen camps.

Our unity and cooperation have grown with great SPA Leadership meetings with staff and leaders from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Auckland New Zealand, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea meeting three times a year. We have a combined mission contribution which funds our churches in PNG, Perth, and now Adelaide under the direction of our SPA Mission Society. We hope to plant another South Pacific Island nation in the near future.

SPA Ministry Training AcademyOur HOPE worldwide projects have raised thousands of dollars to meet the needs of fresh water, solar panels, and drought relief in the highlands of Papua New Guinea, and now are giving generously to cyclone relief for our disciples and their families in Fiji.

We have also hosted a HOPE Youth Corps in Fiji, and plan to host our second HYC in Papua New Guinea this June. And the churches in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Fiji, and Perth have hosted One Year Challenge participants.

Our school of mission, South Pacific School of Mission, MTA, has had over 75 disciples enrolled as we continue to train existing staff and future staff leaders here. We will have 12 participants graduating at our next conference.

And in September, Sydney will be hosting our Continental Mission Conference Reach2016 with Mike and Anne-Brigette Taliaferro as our guest speakers.

We are so grateful for the great spirit of unity and cooperation between our 11 churches throughout our vast region.
