Leaders Selected for Reykjavik Replanting

"Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the Lord your God.” Zechariah 6:15

Many have been fasting around the Nordic countries on the first day of every month for a year, and praying daily, for God to provide a fulltime ministry couple and a mission team to re-plant the Reykjavik, Iceland church of Christ >>>

A diligent search has been made throughout the U.K., the United States and the Nordics. Much advice has been sought from Reese Neyland, Christopher Lindfeldt, Andy Fleming, Ronny Yttrehus, Mike Fontenot and the international evangelists discipleship group he leads. But most importantly, the Holy Spirit Himself has made know His appointment of a leadership couple through the mutual stirring of their hearts and the opening of doors.

After stepping out of the fulltime ministry almost 10 years ago, after establishing successful and fulfilling careers, after buying and renovating the house of their dreams, and after bringing four children into the world, God has set apart Charlie and Pauline Hovenäs to come back into the fulltime ministry and lead the mission team to replant the Reykjavik church of Christ in early 2013.

Please be praying for their training internship this fall with the Reeds in the Stockholm church, as well as for God to move the hearts of others around the Nordics and the world to join this mission team. We are still actively seeking members for this mission team.

To God be the glory!

In Him,
