The Denver Church of Christ invites you to apply for the 2018 Youth & Family Internship. The Denver church has embarked on a journey to pioneer a new kind of Family Ministry, from "Cradle to Career". The youth of today are trying to find their way through a dark world, and you can be a light that God uses to help them find His love and their true mission and purpose in life. By God's power, these teens will become our future evangelists, elders, deacons, worship leaders, missionaries, and pillars for our churches, but not without your help!
Juone 11th – August 12th, 2018, the Denver Church of Christ will be offering paid and unpaid teen ministry internship opportunities. Over these two months, participants will receive personalized time and training in areas such as:
- Effective Ministry and Bible Training
- Practical Leadership Skills
- Developing Deep Mentoring and Discipling Relationships
- Leading Effective Personal Bible Studies
- Outreach
- Teaching and Preaching
Additional benefits of the program include:
- Free pre-arranged room and board through one of our host families for out of town participants
- Devotionals and staff meetings with our evangelists and elders
- Opportunity to serve at one of our Regional Youth Camps
- Fun-filled activities and adventures in beautiful Colorado
Applications must be completed and returned by March 25th, 2018. Selections for the internship will be communicated by April 15th. Candidates must be doing well spiritually, be eager to learn, have a heart to serve and a passion for the next generation. They must be at least 18 years of age and have obtained a high school or graduation equivalency diploma. Ministry references will be required. You must have a current driver's license and a vehicle at your disposal. Paid interns are not permitted to retain additional employment outside of the internship.
