boliviaHOPE worldwide Bolivia is an initiative of HOPE worldwide based in La Paz, Bolivia. HOPE worldwide is an international development and relief 501(c) 3 non-profit organization based in Wayne, PA, USA that has initiatives in 60 countries and coordinates over 60,000 volunteers each year to aid over 2.5 million people.

HOPE Bolivia is seeking a motivated individual with experience in grant writing and fundraising to pursue potential financial and equipment donations for one of its initiatives. A sustainable social enterprise non-profit ambulatory healthcare center with internationally trained healthcare providers and telemedicine to support the charitable healthcare work with orphans, vulnerable children and families.

This position is a temporary, contractual services assignment. The contract term is approximately three months.

Job Summary: conducts basic research for potential funding sources and maintains databases; with collaboration develops and submits proposals for funding, tracks progress of funding proposals

CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
May include any and/or all of the following: 


  1. Facilitates, reviews, and edits grant proposals; conducts library and electronic research; compiles data; inputs and retrieves data via computer. 

  2. Conducts research on potential funding sources; maintains contact with external agencies. 
 
  3. Works closely with faculty and staff in developing and transforming ideas into grant proposals.
 
  4. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of particular areas involved in identifying and soliciting grants; may collaborate with other divisions of HOPE worldwide and HOPE’s Health and Human Services division. 
 
  5. May coordinate project activities; prepares and processes letters and correspondence, presentation materials, and manuscripts; maintains funding opportunity databases, activity tracking system, and related confidential files. 
  6. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
       Education and experience equivalent to:
       Bachelor's degree; supplemented with one (1) year of related work experience.
