November 6, 2014 -- Ebola has devastated many families in Guinea. My brother-in-law has lost a great number of family members. His father, mother, children and other close relatives died in less than two months. A total of 17 people from that family have succumbed to the epidemic. Another family, who had hosted many people, were hospitalized. Now their house is closed and no one is living there. The only survivor from that household is a young man, who suffers from a mental disability. They have other family members, but none are living in Guinea. Fear has seized the hearts of their neighbors and friends.
We continue to pray that our Father keeps us and consoles those affected by this disease. Day after day we contemplate the beauty of God's goodness. We are protected and no disciple has been affected by the disease here in Guinea. We give the glory to God.
Thank you for the constant support. God doesn’t forget your generosity and it elevates your prayers on our behalf.
