On March 16th – 18th a tiny town in West Virginia called “Minnehaha” became the hub for all the faith, fun, family and general craziness that is the American Commonwealth Region Campus Retreat. 440 disciples and visitors converged on this mountain oasis in the middle of nowhere and experienced the best retreat that we have been a part of yet!There were no facilities large enough to hold everyone so we met in a gigantic circus tent – Old Testament style! We learned about STANDING FIRM, from the book of Philippians and began the retreat with students from all different ministries quoting from memory the entire book.
Through spirit filled sermons, bonfire devotionals and awe-inspiring worship God was glorified and we were all called higher in our faith. We saw 4 baptisms in the brisk mountain stream at the camp and rejoiced over more than 190 conversions over the past year. God is truly reviving the campus ministries in our region of the country – but we all believe that this is just the beginning.
