Slain NIU Student Continues To Inspire Parents

On Valentine's Day, February 14, 2008, a disturbed gunman killed six stiudents in a classroom at Northern Illinois University. One of them was Gayle Dubowski, a disciple in the campus ministry of the Chicago Church of Christ whose parents have been faithful disciples since their college years.

Joe Dubowski recently published a book sharing their grief and God's help. He also has enrolled at Northern Illinois University pursuing a counseling degree to help others with their grief. The anniversary of the shooting spurred a number of media reports. Here are some of them:
