The Texas & Oklahoma churches held their Ministry In Training program in Austin, Texas last week. Roughly 165 people attended, aged 18 to 70. Several came from Monterrey, Mexico, as well. While everyone came to learn and grow, most were there with a dream of serving the church in leadership in the future as a deacon, elder, evangelist, women's ministry leader, etc. Teachers included Mike and Anne-Brigitte Taliaferro, Todd and Patty Asaad, and others from accross the two states. Most everyone stayed in an off-campus housing facility, and ate together in the cafeteria. The fellowship and fun went on till late in the evening. The event will be held again in 2014.
