Four Friends are Baptized at Clemson

Last October Meredith Cole, our first baptism at Clemson University invited a young student to church with her...he in turn invited a group of his friends to come with him. They all began attending regularly and even other friends began coming, and in time, began studying the Bible. It's been so encouraging to see what God has been doing in their lives since last fall!

Jacob Richardson was the first of these friends to get baptized on January 30th in the cold sleeting rain in Lake Hartwell; One week later his best friend David Boerma was baptized; David's childhood friend, Jessica Kirkus was Baptized on March 28th and on April 10th Sarah Cherry Dusenbury was baptized in a much warmer Lake Hartwell!

It has been so amazing to see how God has continued to work in the campus ministry here in Clemson, South Carolina! The campus ministry here continues to grow, not just in number, but in relationships! It's these relationships that capture the hearts of those who visit. These brothers and sisters have a love for one another that is strong and protective; genuine and sincere; encouraging and challenging! It's the love that each one of them has learned through the love that God has demonstrated for them in their lives.

As the school years closes out and as we head into the summer, things will surely slow down here in this small college town, but a new school year begins next August and we are so excited! We don't know what to expect, we have no idea what God has in store for us, but we believe we will see God do even greater things than these!
