Baptism in Kuwait

It’s been ten years in the making, but as the Scriptures say, “Your labor in the Lord is never in vain”.
As young Christians Jay and his wife Sonia moved from the Philippines to Kuwait. While on the job, Jay met Lito who was also from the Philippines. As a young Christian in a new country, Jay had his share of ups and downs and Lito saw them all. But Jay remained faithful and as his faith grew he started reaching out to Lito and sharing his faith with Lito. After ten years, Lito finally agreed to come to church. From that first service, he has not missed a service, has been eagerly studying the Bible, humbly responding to the words of the Bible, and has become an integral part of our spiritual family here in Kuwait. This week when Lito confessed, “Jesus is Lord”, it was a race to see who all could fit in the bathroom and watch his sins be washed away.
