The 760 women in the Abidjan Church of Christ in the Ivory Coast made the decision to reach out in a powerful way in May to the lost of their community. They organized a big campaign for the week of May 24-29. All 14 sectors of the church joined in. Every day the sisters assembled in open places on the street across Abidjan.
They would begin with a message to encourage the sisters in their boldness and courage. Then they would fan out, share their faith, and study the Bible with women. There would also be on the spot invites to hear one of the women preach (sort of an instant "Woman's Day").
After five days they'd had over 400 Bible studies, along with 1000 others who expressed a desire to study the Bible as well! Many of these studies are now reaching a point of fruition, with God bringing a big harvest to the Abidjan church. Please be praying for the harvest there.
