On Saturday, Dave Hooper taught the participants about the epistles of John and called everyone higher in their love for one another. Adam and Bethany Smith spoke about what it means to be leader by first being a good learner and then training others.
Singles also broke into d-groups to discuss what they were learning and to get to know disciples from other churches. To end the afternoon session, the men and women came together in small groups to brainstorm how to reach out to the prominent people in our communities and came up with a lot of great ideas.
Saturday evening, the group spent time fellowshipping, eating and admiring the view of Lake Travis from a beautiful overlook of the lake and sunset. Sunday the group was able to join in with the Austin Christian Church’s south service in the park. It was inspiring to see so many singles wanting to be trained and desiring to help build up their respective ministries for God. We look forward to seeing how God will continue to build up the singles ministry in Texas!
