When Larry and Kim Reed came to the Boston Church to lead the singles ministry more than three years ago, they came with hope and vision. They have led us with faith, purpose and much prayer. One vision they presented to us was of seeing singles on staff in Boston, leading singles. As of July 1, 2014, their prayers have been answered; the vision has become a reality.

Southern Cities led the way when they hired Angela Perry. Many of us have been blessed to know Angela whether as Leader of the Southern Singles, Worship Leader, Single’s Speaker or sister. Baptized June 28, 1998, Angela has not stopped serving God or His family with her whole heart, mind, body and strength. She will continue serving with Carrandias Moore in Southern Cities and on both the Boston and International Leadership Teams as she trains with Kim and Ruby learning the ins and outs of being a Women’s Ministry Leader. Angela will be representing the Boston Singles’ Ministry in Denver at Elevate, the International Singles Conference.

Zach Wolfe is unbelievably excited to be working with the Singles Ministry as an Intern serving in the Downtown Region. Growing up in Atlanta, GA, Zach no longer feels like a stranger in a strange land after living in Boston for the past 4 years. He graduated from Boston College in May of 2014 with degrees in History and French. While at there, he was reached out to, studied and was eventually baptized on March 24, 2013. Zach’s main goal as an Intern is to help strengthen the already flourishing Singles Ministry in Downtown Boston by focusing on evangelistic efforts, promoting unity, and dreaming big for God. If you feel like you may not have anything in common with Zach, you’re probably wrong because he has so many interests that it seems like one person can’t have them all. From the NFL to the English Premier League, from sports to poetry, from classical to country music, from the manliest action-packed movies to musical theatre, chances are that Zach loves something that you love, so feel free to introduce yourselves and strike up a conversation! At the very least you will be encouraged and entertained.
