Djeffery Daphnis: I was born in Miami, Florida but was raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti until I was 14 years old. Quick shout out to my Caribbean brothers and sisters, "Bonjour." I moved to Denver, Colorado about 12 years ago and let's just say I experienced extreme culture shock. Being raised in a third world country to now living in the United States completely turned my life around. I was astonished by the culture, the language barrier, the food, the people, the cold weather, and so much more. I was met in the campus ministry and have been a disciple for almost seven years (I will be seven in June). Best decision yet! I love to dance (I dance to the beat of my heart, its crazy); I enjoy hanging out with friends, watching movies, and food. I am very much looking forward to meeting everyone and making new friends. I love to travel so you may be the next person I come to visit!
Julia Hall: I was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado (a suburb of Denver) and I too was met on campus, at the University of Colorado. I have been part of the Denver Church of Christ (DCC) singles ministry since 2001. I enjoy playing the flute and started playing when I was in the second grade. I also serve on the worship team and I am so grateful to be able to use my musical talents for God. I love being a part of the DCC and continually pray that our singles ministry can continue to be a vibrant ministry that brings glory to God. I hope that we make your stay in Denver, Colorado a memorable one that you look back on as a time you grew closer to God and made many great friendships.
