To be on the mission team, members committed to weekly training times on Sundays, reaching out in groups twice a week, praying daily at noon for the team, and set times to follow up with people they met. It was so inspiring to hear the good news each week. Members shared how they overcame their fears to reach out to others. There were many stories of people getting phone numbers of open people. We have already seen many come out to church and start to the study the Bible as a result of the mission team's efforts.
The mission team also inspired the rest of the singles ministry to get out there and reach out more. Two brothers went door knocking and have since studied several times with a guy they met.
We are praying more fruit will come from the mission team and that we can continue to spread the good news in the DFW metroplex area.
