"Carry Me Home"

Stellar Music Deserves Large Audience

I have just enjoyed a couple weeks of listening to this great new CD by Jon Augustine  - "Carry Me Home". It has not gotten old to me at all. I keep hearing tremendous new things in it. I???ve listened to with ear buds, headphones, great speakers, PC speakers, and while cruising down the highway in my '98 CRV. Each time, I love the impact of this album. It accomplishes many things through the power of good music that is performed and recorded well. It is entertaining and it ministers to your heart and soul at the same time. Although it is a studio recording, it has many aspects of a sensitive, live performance that draws you in and enthralls the listener.

Jon Augustine has a bluesy, salty, soulful feel that softens your heart and draws you to God - for joy, for healing, for praise - by the mysterious, spiritual power of music.

Below, you can judge for yourself. With the label's permission, I have have prepared samples of each track so you can hear highlights from the project. It will easily become the favorite album of many listeners.

By the way, if you live near Baltimore, Jon will be performing there live December 2, 2006 as part of his East Coast appearances sharing the material from this inspired album.See the Greater Baltimore Church of Christ web-site for more details.

My eyes look to the star light

A home on earth I have not found

If I never had the clouds you know I'd never see the rain

And I'd never get to see this rainbow in the sky!

How could you lift me up if I never ever stumble?

And Lord you lift me - you lift me up so high!

Oh Carry Me home???

Never so much power.

So I could sail so far from me.

Built a big old house

where my emptiness could run free.

God talks to Job in Chapter 38 and gets R-E-S-P-E-C-T!

This chordal masterpiece was the theme for the campus and teens conference...

One missionary asked for permission very recently to use this as the theme song for a new planting team.

Track 9 sampling

Sample Lyrics

And my ears have heard the wonder,

of the saints in one accord,

singing songs about forever

in one Spirit of one Lord.

But you hear the cries of anguish

and the stories of the horde???  My God???

Here am I Lord Send Me!  No More shall I roam

Here am I Lord Send Me! Thy Will is my Home
