HOPE worldwide Bolivia partners with Fundacion Arco Iris

There are more than 30,000 children living or working on the streets of La Paz, Bolivia. For the past 20 years, Fundacion Arco Iris has been devoted to meeting the needs of these children. On September 1, 2011, HOPE worldwide Bolivia joined forces with this foundation to help strengthen their efforts.

HOPE worldwide’s work in La Paz is being led by Dr. Kevin Broyles, Assistant Professor in Community and Family Medicine-Duke University. Dr. Broyles is serving as the HOPE worldwide Country Director of Bolivia. In addition, he is also serving as consultant to Hospital Arco Iris in La Paz.

To keep up-to-date on the progress of HOPE worldwide Bolivia’s work, the La Paz team has established a weekly blog. You can learn more by visiting their blog at: hopeinbolivia.wordpress.com. As the work and partnerships develop you may discover opportunities to become involved and a passion to change the future for the street children and poor in La Paz
