Thursday morning we began with a training session for leaders by Al & Gloria Baird (Phoenix) and Rob and Pam Skinner (Tucson) that laid an inspiringoundation. There were over 70 different people involved in preaching, teaching and sharing their testimonies.
We were able to hear powerful messages from Marty Wilkinson (Texas), Gary Sciascia (Arizona), Richard Buckner (Fresno, CA) and Steve Lounsbury (Los Angeles) on how to change the world and sharing by student missionaries from the Middle East.
On Saturday, July 4, 1000 students took buses to the Gila Indian Community where we refurbished five run-down schools. HOPE worldwide (Phoenix Chapter) organized the event and the transformations were undeniable. The students worked tirelessly for these young underprivileged children.
On Sunday we were joined by the entire Phoenix church at Symphony Hall for our final worship service with almost 2000 people. “I want to change the world!” was the resounding quote from student after student.
