The Steps of Jesus and Apostles cruise is a 13-day cruise that starts in Rome (Civitavecchia) and continues to Athens, Greece; Ephesus, Turkey; Haifa and Ashdod, Israel; Alexandria, Egypt; Messina, Sicily, and Naples/Capri, Italy and back to Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy. This year Disciples Today had 97 people join from 10 different countries and from 5 different sectors of the New York City Church of Christ
The Wailing Wall - God's Presence Brought Near
The Western Wall is one of the few remaining parts of the actual wall that surrounded the Temple where the presence of God dwelt in the Holy of Holies. What a thrill it was for me to be able to physically see the Western Wall and touch it on the 2010 Steps of Jesus and the Apostles Tour.

October 5, 2010 marked the day that 97 disciples, family and friends embarked on a journey that would change our lives forever. Married and single “Steppers” arrived in Rome from the U.S., Barbados, Canada, Cambodia, Germany, Mexico, Peru, South Africa, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
Together we boarded the beautiful Celebrity Equinox, which would be our home for the next two weeks and sailed to the ports of Athens, Greece; Ephesus, Turkey; Haifa and Ashdod, Israel; Alexandria, Egypt; Messina, Sicily, and Naples/Capri, Italy.
Excursions in Israel and Egypt

Canaanite Fortress Unearthed in Jerusalem
Recently, a huge fortification more than 3,700 years old – ascribed to the Canaanites (Middle Bronze Age 2) – was uncovered in archaeological excavations that the Israel Antiquities Authority is currently conducting in the Jerusalem Walls National Park in the City of David.
