tamara tathamWe're very excited that our sister Tamara Tatham is one of 12 women competing for the Canadian Women's Basketball Team in the 2016 Rio Olympics this summer!

Tamara competed in the 2012 London Olympics with her sister Alisha Tatham. Alisha became a disciple a few months after the last Olympics games and continually inspired her sister to seek a relationship with God. Tamara studied the Bible and made the decision to become a disciple last year at West Church in the Toronto area!

It has been such an encouraging journey to see both of these women live out their faith in every area of their lives. While they both excel in their sport, if you were to ask them about what's most important, they would be the first to say, "God, family, basketball.... in that order."

Both Tamara and Alisha continue to be an inspiration off the court as they co-founded, "Love Live Hoop," a developmental program for young female athletes ages eight to 17, helping the girls on court with skill development and off court with personal development workshops.

Please be praying for your sister as she competes on the highest stage for sport, and that she shines her light brightly to impact those around her! You can encourage and connect with both Tamara (@ttatham13) and Alisha (@a_tatham) on social media.
